Alexander E. Blum

Attorney

Alexander practices complex commercial litigation, private equity litigation, and appellate work. His experience encompasses an eclectic assortment of industries and clients. He has represented global, publicly traded companies and public figures in Michigan and across the country, as well as small business owners and class action consumer groups. He approaches each case with equal parts ardor and adaptability in order to best meet the goals of his clients. While he recognizes that a thorough understanding of the law is essential, it is only useful when it is combined with an intimate familiarity with his client’s business and interest. In synthesizing the diverse aspects of litigation, he is able to implement the full force of the law in the advancement of his client’s interests. “An advocate should have the precision of a poet and the imagination of a scientist”.

Thus, Alexander’s strong track record of success is the result of his ability to understand the contradictions inherent in litigation and to use his imaginative understanding of such complexities to outmaneuver his opponent and maximize his clients’ goals. He regularly appears on either side of the aisle in cases involving complex business disputes, stock options claims; non-compete violations; real estate litigation; shareholder oppression claims; and appellate litigation. Early in his career, Alexander was recognized by his colleagues as an up-and-coming attorney postured to make excellent contributions to the legal profession to date, he has fulfilled those expectations.
